A mechanical brake failure was blamed in a crash involving a bus carrying staff and residents of an adult care home in Virginia Wednesday morning. As the bus approached an intersection, the brakes gave out, causing the driver to lose control, pass through the intersection, and run into a creek bed.
According to police, none of the three staff members were hurt, and only minor injuries were suffered by residents. No charges were filed in connection with the incident.
